In Year 5 we have started our new geography unit! Before we start looking at Brazil and the different settlements, we wanted to refresh our map skills and ensure we know where we are in relation to Brazil.
Today, we looked at our world map to identify the continents, oceans and equator. We looked closer at the UK and reviewed the location of the four countries and their capital cities. Using the atlases helped us to locate certain places in the world. We noticed that the UK is very small compared to Brazil. We can’t wait to find out more in the rest our of Geography lessons this half term!
