In science lessons this term, we have been learning about the two different types of electricity – mains and battery – and how they help appliances work in school and at home. We have also been finding out about the different electrical components we can use to make a series circuit and how to identify if a circuit isn’t complete. We have also investigated conductors and insulators and made sure that we differentiated between the object and the material we tested. We discovered that all the metal objects we tested were conductors.
