We have been learning some map skills in orienteering this term – we found it a bit tricky at first when we had to make sure the map stayed orientated to match our items but we got the hang of it. We have had to give clear instructions to our friends to navigate obstacle courses such as: North, South, East, West, anti-clockwise, 90 degrees etc. and we linked this to our work in Maths too.
