Today we learnt how to play battleships to help us understand how to use coordinates. We worked hard to remember to say the letter before the number so that we’d remember to use the horizontal x axis first, followed by the vertical y axis next when we come on to more difficult coordinates. We had great fun sinking our friends’ ships!
