In these first few weeks back, we have been recapping our knowledge of addition, using the column method and using apparatus like cubes and base ten to help us. We remembered that addend + addend = sum and the apparatus really helped us when there were more than two addends. We concentrated on regrouping this week and we were little stars! Subtraction, here we come!
