We have thoroughly enjoyed learning about the Roman invasion of Britain so far this term and this week we were very lucky indeed! We had a morning in the hall with a ‘Box of Delight’ from Tyne and Wear Museums Service. We got the chance to explore artefacts and replica artefacts found along Hadrian’s Wall and its forts and we were able to explore a range of other sources like maps to deepen our understanding of life at the time.
