This term in DT, we have been designing book jackets with a fastening to keep our books protected when being transported. We designed covers that held our interests and were aesthetically pleasing. We then looked at other book jackets available and decided which shape we would use for our own. We learnt some useful stitches – running stitch and whip stitch – before measuring and cutting fabric and putting it all together. Don’t they look great!
