This term we have been looking at animals as inspiration for our art. We did some observational drawings after looking at photos of different animals and how we could recreate the different textures of these animals. We also studied the work of the artist Maria Prymachenko who used animals in her art but made them fantastical and very colourful! We then used some of these lovely ideas to inspire our own animal sculptures.
