We loved celebrating Roald Dahl day in Year 2! First of all, we talked about who Roald Dahl was and we found out some new information about his earlier years, including his past jobs. We then discussed which of his books we had already heard of and we looked at some new ones. We loved watching a clip of The BFG and then we used our work on expanded noun phrases to help us to describe the giant and write some fantastic character descriptions.
