Everyday we join in with a Mastering Number session. These sessions help to consolidate our place value knowledge by giving us a good understanding of numbers. We have looked at different ways to make each number and we always recap our number bonds to 10, as this is a very important skill in Year 2! We have also looked at doubling and halving numbers. We sometimes use a rekenrek as this helps us to visually see what each number is made up of.
