Our latest History unit is all about Nurses and as part of this we have been looking at how hospitals and medicines have changed over time. Using some sources, we compared a hospital from a very long time ago with what a hospital is like now, and we agreed that they’re now a lot cleaner and have much better equipment. We also looked at some old medicine and tried to guess what it was used for, before comparing it to the medicine which is around now.
