Our children have been absolute superstars with their English writing this half-term. We explored a beautiful story about a ‘Bog Baby’ that was discovered in some magical woods. The children learned lots of new vocabulary and used their skills in writing adverbs, expanded noun phrases and conjunctions to create a fangtastic recount of the story. They used a ‘success criteria’ to check that they had included as much as possible. Well done, Year 2!
