This week in Year 2 we began our new art unit based on artwork of the Northern lights. First we looked at some real images of the lights and discussed how and where they appear. Then we explored a range of different pieces inspired by the Northern lights and annotated them by identifying patterns and colours. Y2 can’t wait to learn more about the Northern lights and make their own artwork!
