This term, our children in Year 1 have been captivated by the story The Secret of Black Rock. Through this rich and imaginative text, they have developed their storytelling skills, written thoughtful character descriptions, and created their own wonderful narratives. The children have shown great enthusiasm when sharing their ideas and have worked hard to improve their punctuation and vocabulary. We’ve been so proud of their creativity, focus, and growing confidence as independent writers.
