Year 1 have thoroughly enjoyed our music unit of work where all the learning has focused around two songs: Rhythm in The Way We Walk (Reggae style) and Banana Rap (Hip Hop style). We have learnt how to listen and appraise these styles of music as well as learning how to sing these songs. We have loved the warm up activities where we have explored pitch and pulse.
