Year 1 – Investigating Materials
Erin, a character in our book wants to go out to sea and it is raining. We investigated which material would make the best raincoat for her. After learning the vocabulary absorbent and waterproof, we put our skills to the test. We had four different materials, we carefully dropped some water on them and observed what happened. We came to the conclusion that plastic would be the most suitable material.
