During Fieldwork Fortnight, our young geographers have been busy exploring the weather.
We started off by creating our very own rain gauges using recycled bottles – and they’ve been a brilliant tool for measuring daily rainfall right here on our school grounds!
Each day, we have been monitoring the temperature, checking the wind direction and speed, and talking about how the weather affects our day-to-day lives. The children have loved using real equipment and recording their findings like true weather reporters!
