We loved reading the story book ‘Little Glow’ which was all about different families celebrating different festivals throughout the year. We discovered how the festivals of Chinese New Year, Hanukkah, Diwali , Ramadan and Christmas were celebrated. We noticed that there was one thing that featured in each festival and that was ‘light’. This was in the form of lamps, candles and fireworks. As well as completing work around this, we designed our own unique candle, they were all different apart from the flame.
