We LOVE singing in reception, in fact, we pretty much have a song for everything! The children love joining in with our songs. Some help them to carry out different jobs, such as lining up and tidying up and some are part of our daily routine, like our welcome song and days of the week song. Just ask us and I’m sure we can sing one for you! We also enjoy singing as part of our English and maths’ learning. So far we have learnt a song about Dan and his ball in English, and enjoy lots of number songs in maths. ‘5 Little Ducks’ and ‘5 Currant Buns’ are two of our favourites!
