For Science week, we looked out how animals adapt to their environment. This lead us into thinking about how different creatures, such as caterpillars, are able to camouflage themselves to protect themselves from predators. We headed over to Forest School and tried to hide lots of different coloured ‘caterpillars’, we then pretended to be birds and hunted for as many as we could find. The red, orange, pink and white caterpillars were much easier to spot than the green and brown ones! We know which colour we’d like to be if we were a caterpillar!
