Year 5 have been developing their team work and problem solving skills during orienteering this half term. Their agility and quick reactions were tested during a paired game. Next, children were set the task of reaching one side of the ‘river’ to the other without falling in the water. They used hoops as their rafts and could leave no member of their team behind. Each round became more challenging, with smaller rafts, extra items to carry or more people. We were so impressed by their team skills and their ability to communicate with each other!
