Uno, dos, tres… Year 5 have loved learning their numbers to 12 in Spanish this half term. They have built on previous learning by continuing to use their greetings each day. Year 5 have been able to answer questions using Cuantos? (how many?) in different contexts, looking at pictures, listening to audio clips and even asking each other some maths questions. Children moved on to learn how to ask people for their ages and respond with the appropriate number. They continued to use Mouth Mechanics this half term to perfect their pronunciation! It is fantastic hearing children speak so confidently in Spanish.
Year 5 are looking forward to learning more about Spanish traditions at Christmas time.
