NSPCC – Year 4 PSHE

May 23, 2024PSHE

This half term we had our NSPCC Speak Out. Stay Safe. workshop. We spoke about the different types of abuse and the signs of abuse. We discussed safe adults and who we can speak to if we have any worries. We could name a lot including, our parents, teachers, aunts & uncles, adult siblings and emergancy services. We discussed what other options we have if we don’t feel like we can talk to people we know. This is where we heard about childline and learnt their number along with the hand actions to help us remember.

After our discussion, we thought other children needed to hear about Childline too. We created posters with the important message ‘we all have the right to speak out and stay safe’ and their phone number.
