Climate Crew – Recycling Week

Our Climate Crew have celebrated Recycling Week by learning all about items that are sometimes forgotten about and put into landfill. Laura from Groundworks brought along a fantastic game called ‘Rescue Me’ which is on trial from a company called ‘Recycle Now’. Our children were very lucky to play the game and give their feedback about how they found it.

They loved learning tons of new facts and ended the session with an activity and a quiz. They learned about recycling yoghurt pots, spray bottles, deodorant cans, toilet roll tubes and perfume bottles and how they could be used to create new items. A brilliant start
