Our amazing Climate Crew had a fantastic time furthering their knowledge about global warming and Net Zero. The children enjoyed a brilliant workshop with Alex from Northern Gas Networks and impressed her with their understanding of a carbon footprint and the greenhouse effect. During their session, the children were challenged to explore positive and negative impacts and attempted to balance the carbon scales to achieve Net Zero. They worked hard but realised that it is trickier than it seems! Going forwards, the team are going to make suggestions about how we might help to reduce our carbon footprint around school. Well done Climate Crew!
